The ZippyCart demo will not run on my server. What can I do?

If your server is not php enabled, you may wish to consider choosing a new host. php is required by many website tools other than ZippyCart. We offer php-enabled hosting through an affiliate site, QualityHosts.

If you can't change hosts but still want the features of ZippyCart™, we also publish the following solutions which do not require that php be installed on the catalog server.

ezPaycart's 'nPage cart is a full featured shopping cart application created with Javascript It's designed to appear in the same HTML document as the items being sold. You can use all the features of 'nPage just by placing adding two lines to any web page.
ZonaCart is a direct replacement for the Paypal Shopping Cart but with many more features. If you currently use the Paypal cart, you can convert your catalog pages to ZonaCart in just a few minutes

Do I need to 'know php' to use ZippyCart?

Anyone with basic editing skills can use Zippycart. The script is ready to use, but you may want to change data and settings such as shipping rates. You do not need to know how to write programs with php. If you can edit text, you won't have any trouble making theses changes.

Do I have to accept Paypal?

No, there is no interaction with Paypal other than payment. The active script generated for your account includes a feature which posts order totals to the Paypal system by default. If you wish to use another payment method, the ZippyCart script may be modified to accept alternates.

What if I mess it up?

If you need help installing or customizing the script, we can fix most problems for a minimal fee. Suport of this type is handled from our general web help site at FixMyPage.com

Is there any guarantee?

Yes, We guarantee the active script to function as originally delivered. If the script does not function properly due to our error, we will fix the problem without charge. To be eligible, you must install and run the demo script to be certain your server is configured for php.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, but only in the following circumstance:

  • You paid more than once by mistake.
  • You have not yet taken delivery of the active script.
Once you have downloaded the active script, we can not refund. The script is our intelluctual property licensed to, and created especially for, you. Once you take possession, we have no way to recover our position prior to payment.

What about support?

Support for these products is available using the ticket system linked from the top menu. You will also be provided with a specific support link for your account once created. Support is free except for edits or testing the script on your server. (see fixmypage above)

What about upgrades, newer versions?

Upgrades are free for the lifetime of the product provided you do not remove the small ZippyCart Icon at the bottom of the script.

ZippyCart calculates shipping by your customer's zip code. Zippy adds up the combined weight of each item in the order, then looks up the rate based on standard zones. This is the same method used by the USPS and other web sites to calculate mailing costs.

Because you can edit the rates used in this calculation, you will be able to create accurate calculations using any carrier. Default rates are provided for both domestic and international shipments, plus, you can easily add custom rates for any destination

If you already have the Paypal cart on your pages, conversion is easy! ZippyCart uses existing Paypal add-to-cart buttons unchanged other than one additional field for item weight.

FreeRide™ is a special feature found only in our ZippyCart product. This feature lets your customer know when the total order weight is such that adding an additional item will not increase the shipping charge. Read more..
