Amy Trejo
Amy has been with the ZippyCart content team since the launch of our news section in July 2009. She studied literature and writing at Arizona State and has been a professional writer for just over 10 years. Her life goal is to write a book related to socialogy and human interaction (she won't tell us more than that) that sells more than an Operah bookclub book. She loves how the Internet has freed up so many opportunities for writers and hopes to find time to update her own blog inbetween daily ZippyCart news and site content updates.
Scott Riley
Scott is an avid fan of all things ecommerce. His claim to fame is that he "puts the Zip in ZippyCart." He considers himself the world-wide number one reader of TechCrunch, C|Net, and The Ecommerce Times. Scott has worked in the SEO industry for many years, but found himself always shifting his focus to review sites and ecommerce blogs. When we decided to start the ZippyCart Ecommerce news, Scott was an obvious fit. He handles most of our OpEds as he is a very opinionated guy. Scott is also our Twitter guy, so don't hesitate to send him a tweet if you see him online

Become a Guest Author
Every once in awhile we will have guest authors write for our news as well. These guest authors are always experts in the industry and we require that they write from a non-bias point of view, unless the content is noted as an OpEd piece. If you would like to be a guest author on our site, please contact admin at zippycart.com. Anyone who would like to become a regular guest author has the option of being featured on this page.
What You're Getting With Our News
Our goal with the ZippyCart ecommerce news is to provide online merchants all the information necessary to run a successful online storefront. We feel that staying up-to-date with the changes of the internet, innovations in the industry, and important tips, will help merchants gain a leg up on the competition. To ensure we are only providing the best information, we put high standards on our news content, avoid bias, and call out moments that are author opinions with notes like "Author's Tip." If the entire piece is ever opinion based, we will state that it is an Op Ed. Check back regularly as our content team is still growing.
